A1 Building Supplies are a builders merchants based in Hackney, London. We are a family run
business that has quickly built up a reputation in Hackney and the surrounding Borough's as a supplier of top quality
building supplies at rock bottom prices.
Originally we started business as A1 Skip Hire (uk) Ltd. supplying cheap skip hire around London. Just
a few years ago as we saw the outrageous prices being charged by builder's merchants for other building supplies we decided
to expand our business into supplying building materials for London tradesmen at fairer prices. We have seen rapid growth
and have recently moved into new premises and taken on new staff to cope with growing demand. We are still based
